I love these images from this NYC engagement shoot turned Long Island beach editorial. Christina changed her mind on a downtown city shoot after a day of visiting this secret beach that is so special to her and Walter. After showing me some photos she took, I was sold. I loved that we had switched gears from the city to the coast and that we could do it in a place that means so much to them. The beach emptied out towards evening, the golden light turned perfect, and these two wandered the shore with me as we chatted and documented their love.
I’m so thankful to have been a part of so many beautiful, intimate days with people. Bethany and Josh got married at a place dear to my heart because it’s where my husband and I said our own I DO’s four years ago 🙂 They kept their day small and simple, enjoying each other and their families. Here’s a handful of images from their day last spring!
A perfectly chilly November day, accompanied with a live celtic band, a tweed blazer straight from Ireland itsself, and nothing but candles lighting the ceremony. Seeing the rolling hills and quant building surrounding this venue one would have thought we had transported ourselves to the Scottish Highlands. Brianna and Wyatt fell in love with the Irish and Scottish culture on a recent visit there and I loved the way they incorporated that feel in such a natural, laid back way on their wedding day. Brianna is the creative director for the incredible outdoor apparel company United By Blue, and she basically turns anything she touches to gold.
